CUHK efforts on the SDGs
CUHK embraces the vision of people, social, and environmental and economic harmonies in the pursuit of sustainability. This section of Sustainable Development Matters encapsulates the recent efforts and achievements of the CUHK community in driving sustainable development.
In the Times Higher Education Impact Rankings 2023, which assesses global universities against the SDGs, CUHK has been placed 83rd worldwide and ranked first in Hong Kong with remarkable performance in the following SDGs:
SDG 4: Quality Education (5th globally);
SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth (22nd globally); and
SDG 16: Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions (23rd globally).
